Repeat Prescriptions

The Practice now offers repeat prescribing by logging in and ordering any medication you are soon to run out of. You will only be able to request your medication 7 days prior to running out.

If you cannot see any medication on your online profile this means your are due a review of your medication and you will need to telephone the surgery to book a medication review with a doctor.

If some of the items are available but not all then please call the surgery and we will endeavor to make all your repeat medication available.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
